SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM

The High-Speed Rail Authority’s (HSR) Small Business Program along with Construction Package (CP) 2-3 Design Build Prime Contractor, Dragados Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV) will host a “Meet the Prime” event on February 28, 2023, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  DFJV is seeking certified Small Businesses (SB), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) General Contractors with experience, capability, and capacity to furnish materials and install the following types of work scopes:

• Street Sweeper Services
• Electrical Contractors
• Concrete in Drilled Holes (CIDH)
• Asphalt Paving
• Concrete Contractors
• General Contractors

The Workshop will cover:

• An overview of the HSR Small Business Program
• Small Business certifications accepted by HSR
• Navigating the HSR Small Business webpages
• Learning how to stay connected and engaged with HSR
• Finding contract opportunities
• Registering your business in Connect HSR Registry
• An introduction to the HSR Business Advisory Council
• Current opportunities on the project related to DFJV

NOTE: Interested firms should prepare company capability statements that include current license, certification status, and area of interest. This information will allow DFJV to evaluate and make proper introductions to DFJV construction procurement teams.
