Today, the California African American Chamber of Commerce honors the life, legacy, and enduring impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King reminded us that “economic justice is inseparable from racial justice.” His vision compels us not only to dream of a more equitable future—but to build it through action, opportunity, and collective responsibility.

As California’s largest statewide African American chamber, we recommit ourselves to advancing economic empowerment, expanding access to capital, strengthening Black-owned businesses, and advocating for policies that create lasting prosperity for our communities.

MLK Day is not just a day off—it is a day on.
A day to serve. A day to lead. A day to move Dr. King’s vision forward.
