On October 4th, Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia will explore this year’s historic infusion of public investments accelerating California’s clean energy future. From the 2022-2023 CA State Budget and recent federal legislations including the Inflation Reduction and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Acts, Assemblymember Garcia will dive into the “Great Implementation” of these catalytic investments and expanded partnerships in developing and deploying clean energy technologies for California.  

Since 2014, Assemblymember Garcia has represented California’s 56th Assembly District, which spans Imperial and the eastern portion of Riverside County. Assemblymember Garcia has championed measures to bring environmental and economic relief to the areas of the Coachella and Imperial Valley and was appointed Chair of the California Assembly Committee on Utilities and Energy in January 2022 after holding the first informational hearing on lithium opportunities at the Salton Sea.
